    Like we said in our prevised blogs zellige is made by pure clay mixed with water , then we dry it in the sun , color it , bake it and then the most delicate part comes “cutting the zellige “.

    We call it the most delicate and the hard part because zellige is a very fragile art , a tinny mistake can break the piece . to us we are using the best handcraft men in this field to have the perfect shape.

    The handcraft man take the tile after is cools down and but it on a big rock and start cutting the edges slowly using a specific axe , it turns the piece and cut it with pure perfection to give you the shape and the size you like .
